From Expert to Leader:
How Thought Leadership Builds Professional Visibility and Strategic InfluenceHigh performance does not always translate to influence. Despite their expertise and contributions, women lawyers are often under-recognized as leaders within their firms and the profession.
This session explores how authentic thought leadership—rooted in clarity, credibility, and substance—can help women lawyers enhance their professional visibility and contribute more strategically within and beyond their firms.
The talk introduces a psychologically informed approach to thought leadership that supports advancement without requiring self-promotion or becoming a public figure. Instead, it offers a framework for sharing insight with purpose, grounded in personal values and professional goals.
Participants will learn:
What thought leadership means in the legal profession—and how it differs from marketing or personal branding
The internal and external barriers that make it difficult for lawyers, especially women, to share their perspectives publicly
A foundational framework for developing thought leadership that supports professional advancement, strengthens firm reputation, and builds strategic influence over time
Ideal for:
Women lawyers at all levels who want to contribute more meaningfully to their field, grow their professional visibility, and be recognized for their leadership on their own terms.

Psychological Well-Being (PWB) for Lawyers:
Building a Fulfilling and Sustainable Legal CareerLegal practice demands sustained high performance under conditions of chronic stress. Yet, few lawyers are equipped with the psychological tools to meet those demands without personal cost.
This session introduces psychological well-being as a skill-based framework for sustaining long-term performance and fulfillment in the legal profession. Drawing on research, clinical insight, and lived experience, it challenges conventional approaches to well-being and offers a more enduring, practical path to professional sustainability.
Participants will explore:
The cognitive and emotional patterns common in legal practice that contribute to chronic stress and burnout
The difference between subjective well-being and psychological well-being (PWB) and why PWB offers a more stable foundation for success
Core skills for managing stress, building emotional resilience, and maintaining clarity and purpose under pressure
How authenticity, values alignment, and self-awareness contribute to both personal well-being and professional effectiveness
Ideal for:
Lawyers at all levels who want to move beyond short-term coping strategies and begin building the internal skills required for a sustainable and meaningful legal career. Particularly relevant for firms focused on leadership development, mental health, and long-term talent retention.

Mental Health in Law:
A Real Conversation About Anxiety, Perfectionism, and BurnoutMental health challenges are common in the legal profession but rarely discussed openly. Many lawyers struggle in silence with anxiety, perfectionism, depression, or burnout, fearing that vulnerability could undermine their competence or credibility.
This talk opens the door to a more honest conversation. Drawing from my own experience as a former lawyer who faced burnout and later became a psychotherapist, I share what about the psychological pressures of legal practice and how lawyers can recognize and shift the internal patterns that keep them stuck.
Far from a motivational talk, this session offers both validation and practical tools. It’s designed to meet lawyers where they are, reduce stigma, and support a more grounded and self-compassionate approach to professional life.
Participants will take away:
A better understanding of why mental health challenges are so prevalent in law and why they are not a personal failing
Insight into the personality traits and professional dynamics that make lawyers especially vulnerable to burnout
Strategies for recognizing and interrupting harmful internal patterns
Practical tools to support emotional well-being, prevent burnout, and navigate the profession with greater self-awareness
All participants receive a digital copy of Facing Your Anxiety: A Personal Guide to Freedom from Anxiety.
Ideal for:
Firm-wide well-being initiatives, Lunch & Learns, or mental health awareness programming. Particularly impactful when paired with facilitated group conversations, coaching, or follow-up workshops.
